It is easy to do by yourself after the first couple of times, and can really help to get her over the hump of dehydration.

Did the clinic suggest at all that you could assist feed her with a large syringe (30 cc or larger) ? Did the clinic attempt to do this at all ? I have had cats with serious dental extractions, but a feeding tube was never discussed as a reasonable option. Add extra water and mash the pure up finely so it is more like a thick milkshake.

She has been through so much -- I know that she does not want to give up yet.

p.s. Do not use oral Metacam for pain relief. There are better and safer pain meds than this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-804765572132707892.post-18730470013349251832011-11-13T14:52:38.024-08:002011-11-13T14:52:38.024-08:00you mention in a previous post that she is survivo...you mention in a previous post that she is survivor and a fighter, but she's been through a lot recently. i believe in your first intuition. your love, care and safe haven hotel will bring her to where she was meant to be. god bless! greggruxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11757419357033699263noreply@blogger.com
