It's appalling how rescued cats are treated like store merchandise filling the shelves. Certainly not humane and caring. Hope I never encounter this group in my travels either. Some people are in animal rescue because ...I agree. Some people are in animal rescue because they can't be around other people. They just suck at being personable and it then shows with their empathy for the animals. I have met others that volunteer or work at shelters that act cold and uninterested in the animals. You wonder why they are there and then realize it's just another job to them. I realize there is a lot of stress dealing with homeless cats and dogs but if you are at a point where you don't care about them anymore then it is time to take the door and don't look back.
